As a project manager Helena makes sure that clients’ goals are always met. In her daily work she relies on her vast experience in working with different culture organizations. She is fascinated by the variety of tasks that communication management offers and values the opportunity to deep-dive into different topics. She is convinced that successful communication is based on good listening skills as well as honouring the power of words. Helena knows the power of communication in bringing important topics to the wider audiences and can help to create an extra layer of value with strategic communication.

experience

Helen coordinates several culture projects, writes articles, and edits publications which topics ranging from law to investing and people’s well-being. She organizes events and manages their media coverage. Helena also organizes the internal communication of organisations to ensure that goals are met.

Before joining the PR Partner team, she worked for eight years at the Estonian OpenAir Museum. There she planned and implemented the marketing and communication activities of the museum, coordinated media relations, lead some fascinating communication projects, and contributed to internal communication. She has created brochures, social media content and new web solutions. She started her career as a coordinator at Vaal Gallery – a very special job, that made her fall in love with art.

Education

Helena has a bachelor’s degree in semiotics and culture studies with minor in economics from Tartu University (graduated in 2011). In 2014 she graduated the University of Tartu with a master’s degree in semiotics and culture studies. She has also taken some supplementary courses at the University of Lausanne.

other interests

Helena is interested in museums and their developments and is keen on Estonian contemporary art. In her spare time, she enjoys good literature and spending time in the nature. She can never refuse a change to go on a road trip with her friends.
